Associate professor Mankevich Svetlana Mihailovna has been working at the department since the time of its foundation. The scientific and research work is connected with the analysis, optimization and application of microacupuncture system methods in reflexotherapy (auriculoreflexotherapy, scalpreflexotherapy, hand and foot microacupuncture). Svetlana Mihailovna analyses therapeutic effectiveness of psysiopuncture methods in microacupuncture systems (electroacupuncture, magnetolaserpunctire). She published 96 works, 10 tutorials for doctors.
An associate professor Podsadchik Larisa Vladimirovna has been working at the department of reflexotherapy since 1991. Larisa Vladimirovna develops methods of reflexotherapy in pediatrics, implements new methods of reflexotherapy at child nervous system diseases, new methods of hirudotherapy with patients suffered from cardiovascular system diseases. She published 45 scientific works. In 2004 she underwent training in homeopathy in Moscow, in 1993 – on the Traditional Chinese Medicine in Tsan-Tszin (China). She is certified with a international certificate on acupuncture, has a high qualification category in reflexotherapy.
An associate professor Vasylevsky Sergey Sergeevich, Candidate of Medical Sciences, has been dealing with methods of reflexotherapy since 1988, has been working at the department since 2006. His scientific work is connected with the analysis of myofascinal pain syndrome. He developed an original manual therapy method in complex treatment of patients suffered from bronchitis with osteochondrosis. He underwent training on reflexotherapy and manual therapy in Russia, the Ukraine, at the department of reflexotherapy in BelMAPO. In 1999 he underwent training in Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Tsybo (China), in 2000 – training in Shandun University in Tsinan, in 2003 – training on oriental medicine in Tayuan and on oriental massage in Peking in 2005. He published 26 works, the book «Methods of manual and reflexotherapy ?????????? in complex treatment of low back pain», has a certificate of authorship.
History of the department:
In 1980-1990 specialists of reflexotherapy were trained at the department of physiotherapy. The teaching staff included assistants A.P.Sivakov, S.M.Mankevich, T.V.Fomina and N.V. Solovey. Creation of the department of reflexotherapy made it possible to implement reflexotherapy into the practice in Belarus (1990). In 1990 - 1992 the department was headed by the Candidate of Medical Sciences T.V. Fomina. She actively participated in the development of ultrasound puncture methods for patients suffered from trigeminal neuralgia and for children suffered from peripheral nervous system diseases. In 1992 - 2005 the department was headed by the Candidate of Medical Sciences, associate professor V.P. Zanevsky. He did a great work in the development of teaching materials, organization and improvement of the study process at the department. Since 2005 the department has been headed by the Doctor of Medical Sciences A.P. Sivakov. The teaching staff carries out retraining courses on reflexotherapy and advanced courses on reflexotherapy at viscus diseases, nervous system diseases, on electropuncture diagnostics, hirudopuncture, laserpuncture. From 2006 new advanced courses have been functioning: physioreflexotherapy, oriental massage, electroreflexotherapy, microacupuncture systems.
The staff of the department underwent training at different aspects of Traditional Chinese Medicine in China. It helped to implement new treatment methods not only into the hospital practice in Belarus, but also into the sport medicine practice. In cooperation with the Chinese specialists (Peking Scientific and Research Institute of Sport Medicine) researches on the development of new effective rehabilitation methods for sportsmen are planned in BelMAPO. Scientific researches are connected with analysis of the application efficiency of physical factors in acupuncture points in clinical practice.
Scientific work of the department is connected with the development and implementation of the treatment practice methods bases on the physical factor influence on acupuncture points (laser emission, magnetic field, ultrasound, current), improvement of objective electropuncture diagnostic methods (according to Nakatani, Foll, vegetative resonance test), approbation of new diagnostic and treatment instruments. |
