- Monitoring of postinoculative reactions.
- Epidemiology of parenteral hepatitises.
- Improvement of diagnosis algorithms for viral and bacterial infections.

- Accreditation of medical laboratories for technical competence.

Organizational and methodological activity:

The staff of the department takes part in 3 programs of Minsk city center for hygiene and epidemiology and Minsk city Healthcare Committee:

- Expanded program of immunoprophylaxis in Minsk for years 2006 - 2010;
- Assessment of immune status against hepatitis A in the population of Minsk city
- School of medical practitioner
- Prophylaxis of perinatal infections in newborns
