development of combined and complex treatment methods of patients with malignant neoplasms of head and neck, gastrointestinal tract, skin, ovary; development and implementation of new modern methods of photodynamic diagnostics and treatment of malignant tumors, radiomodifications with the application of ultrasound, magnetic radiation, chemic and biological preparation.
History of the department
The department of oncology was founded in 1960. The target of the department is preparation of doctors for oncological and nononcological establishments of the Republic of Belarus and healthcare improvement for patients suffered from cancer.
