History of the department
The department of urology was founded in 1953. The clinical base of the department is Minsk Regional Clinical Hospital (urological department for 60 beds, andrological department for 40 beds, nephrological department for 40 beds) and Minsk City Hospital ?1. The department has well-equipped, convenient rooms for the classes. There is also a special telecommunicational system, which helps to transmit operations.
Main forms of classes – lectures, seminars, participation in scientific, clinical, hospital and clinic-anatomic conferences. Practical classes are held in well-equipped lecture rooms with the application of multimedia and telecommunicational equipment , - in operation rooms, X-ray rooms, uroflometry rooms, laboratory.
