 History of the department
The department was founded in 2005. The department provides courses of advance training and retraining courses not only for children’s hematologists, but also for pediatricians (district doctors, heads of the child somatic departments, district pediatricians, children’s resuscitation specialists, children’s surgeons, pediatricians of emergency healthcare and others) on the main sections of clinical hematology.

aim at the analysis of biological formation mechanisms of aplasic anemia and myelodysplastic syndromes, treatment methods optimization of oncohematologic diseases and solid tumors, epidemiology and clinic – laboratory peculiarities of hemophilia ? and ? with children of the Republic of Belarus.
Perspectives of the department’s development
Clinical hematology and oncology for pediatricians, effectiveness increase of regular medical check-up and prophylaxis of pathology, regular medical check-up and prevention of this pathology, advanced courses for the teaching staff of medical educational establishments, participation in joint scientific and practical programs with the Republican scientific and research centers – Radiation medicine and ecology, “Mother and a child”.
