Department of obstetrics, gynecology and reproductive health was formed on November 3rd, 2008.
The department is located in two clinical bases: Minsk city Maternity hospital ?2 and Republican Scientific and Practical Centre «Mother and child»
As the priority lines of the work of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus are improvement of rendering aid to mothers and children and improvement of population’s reproductive health, the staff of the department works in the following directions:
• Family planning
• Protection of reproductive health of adolescents and young people
• Rendering highly qualified aid to pregnant women with extragenital pathology
• Treatment of sterile marriage with the use of modern technologies of endoscopy and high reproductive technologies
• Prophylaxis and treatment of STI
• Prophylaxis of oncological diseases of women’s reproductive system
• Carrying of pregnancy in women with pathologies of reproductive system and extragenital pathologies
• Assessment of the state of fetus in different terms of pregnancy
• Working out medical aspects of rise of birth rate.
