At the present time Belarusian Medical Academy of Post-Graduate Education successfully cooperates with the following countries: Russia, Ukraine, Poland, Italy, Germany, Japan, Austria, Switzerland, Libya etc. In 2011 we plan to extend international cooperation with Arabic countries. BelMAPO actively cultivates its relations with Switzerland. The project devoted to preventive maintenance of sexually transmitted diseases and HIV in the Republic of Belarus is of great importance. A number of Swedish-Belorussian projects have educational character (young psychiatrists training), the others are of preventive character (suicide and alcohol abuse prevention).
The dynamic cooperation with the Libyan Board of Medical Specialists gives an opportunity for Libyan doctors to successfully improve their qualification and undergo training in various specialties in our academy.
The agreement between American Austrian Association and BelMAPO gives the right to our specialists to undergo study courses in Austria. Every week various medical seminars on such specialties as ophthalmology, surgery, psychiatry, pathological anatomy, inflectional diseases etc. are held for doctors in Salzburg.
Within the Baltic Sea Region Program an international project ImPrim was launched in 2008.
